Thank you for your interest in Clear Sky Zen, but unfortunately our RSO (Registered Student Organization) has voted to discontinue the group for various administrative reasons. After more than a decade of activity, it was a very tough decision that our members avoided for quite some time. We thank the founders of the group, past presidents and treasurers, and most of all the many, many wonderful people who have sat with us.

If you are interested in zen and meditation, there are several great organizations in the Champaign-Urbana area:

• www.prairiezen.org (our group was an offshoot from this long-time organization, whose leader Elihu Smith was trained by Charlotte Joko-Beck in San Francisco--great organization in a beautiful old home in Champaign)
• www.anandaliina.org (delightful people featuring a mixture of meditation and yoga training in a rustic location East of Urbana)
• www.prairiesangha.org/generalInfo.htm (practices Vipassana mindfulness and Tibetan meditation and offers an introductory group as well as regular Monday night sittings in Urbana)
• www.channingmurray.org (Unitarian-Universalist church with an active interest in Buddhism; used to have meditation on Wednesday evenings; click on "Spriritual Growth" to find out current information on their website)
